Following a fun and successful stream last year, the Fangoria Chainsaw Awards are back on Shudder this year! Fangoria Phil Noble Jr. had this to say regarding the 2021 Shudder stream of the awards:
“Last year’s Chainsaw Awards were not only a highlight of the year in horror, but a testimony to the very spirit of the genre, as ingenuity and resourcefulness won out over the challenges of production during lockdown…We’ve upped the ante this year and added some new categories, and we’re excited for fans to tune in to once again celebrate an amazing year for horror and its fans.”
The awards will air live on Shudder TV on Sunday May 15th at 7pm ET/4pm PT, and will once again be hosted by David Dastmalchian (The Suicide Squad, Ant-Man, The Belko Experiment, The Dark Knight). After its initial airing, the ceremony will be available on Shudder the next day.
